Dental Practice Electronics Recycling

Dental treatment equipment in a dental office.

Equipment Removal for Dental Practices

Michigan Electronic Recycling serves dental offices across Michigan, including practices supported by managed service providers (MSPs). We collect retired computers, servers, storage devices, and medical or dental electronics approved for collection.

We can coordinate directly with your practice or through your MSP. Tell us about your equipment, data-bearing devices, access requirements, and preferred timing so we can plan your commercial pickup.

Reusable equipment is evaluated for potential recovery value. Imaging equipment and large machinery require advance review; send make and model details and photos before scheduling.

Request a dental practice pickup using the contact button below, or call (248) 918-9814.

Accepted Equipment and Exclusions

We evaluate most medical and dental electronics for reuse or recycling, including imaging equipment. Contact us with equipment details and photos before scheduling pickup.

Equipment must be free of biohazard contamination. We do not accept sharps, pharmaceutical or chemical waste, radioactive sources, dental amalgam waste, or damaged batteries through our standard electronics collection service. Large machinery and X-ray equipment require advance review.

Patient Data and Destruction Documentation

We can sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) for work involving patient data. We identify data-bearing storage within medical equipment and remove it when needed for sanitization on a standalone wiping machine or physical destruction.

Our logical wiping and physical destruction services follow NIST SP 800-88 guidance and include serialized documentation. We tailor inventory records and certificates of data destruction to the agreed project requirements.

Supported media includes SAS 6 Gb/s and 12 Gb/s drives, SATA, IDE, CompactFlash, and NVMe including U.2. We also shred hard drives, SSDs, USB flash drives, and tapes.

Discuss your equipment and data-handling requirements before collection.
