Michigan Electronic Recycling offers commercial electronics pickup for businesses and organizations in Birmingham. Plan an office equipment refresh, retire computers and storage devices, or clear out unused business electronics with data sanitization and shredding options.

Residents are welcome to use our Troy drop-off location. You do not need to live in the drop-off city. No appointment is required.

You do not need to be a Troy resident to drop off electronics. Birmingham residents and businesses, including those from surrounding cities, are welcome.

Troy drop-off: 1164 Wheaton Ave, Troy, MI. Open daily, 9 AM–8 PM. No appointment is required. Place accepted electronics in the black drop-off box at the corner of the location.

Television recycling is $20 per TV. Review our accepted items and recycling fees before visiting.

Our Birmingham service is commercial pickup; drop-off takes place at the Troy address above. For devices containing sensitive data, contact us to arrange sanitization or shredding before drop-off.

Arrange data sanitization before retiring computers or storage devices. We use NIST SP 800-88 clear or purge methods suited to the media and project requirements, with physical shredding for devices that cannot be sanitized.

Our equipment supports compatible computers, NVMe, SATA, IDE, and CompactFlash media. We also shred hard drives, SSDs, NVMe drives, USB flash drives, and tapes.
