Michigan Electronic Recycling serves Ann Arbor offices, schools, colleges, medical practices, and other organizations retiring business electronics. We can coordinate collections across multiple buildings and plan around academic calendars or office refreshes.

Ann Arbor residents and businesses may use our Troy drop-off location at 1164 Wheaton Ave, open daily 9 AM–8 PM. You do not need to be a Troy resident, and no appointment is required. Surrounding-city residents are welcome.

Use the black drop-off box at the corner of the building. Television drop-off is $20 per TV. There is no Ann Arbor drop-off location. Call (248) 918-9814 with questions before bringing large or unusual equipment.

Arrange data sanitization before retiring computers or storage devices. We use NIST SP 800-88 clear or purge methods suited to the media and project requirements, with physical shredding for devices that cannot be sanitized.

Our equipment supports compatible computers, NVMe, SATA, IDE, and CompactFlash media. We also shred hard drives, SSDs, NVMe drives, USB flash drives, and tapes.
